About Us

The Mulder family immigrated to Australia from South Africa in March 2009. Collectively they brought with them decades of
business experience as entrepreneurs, which quickly sparked an interest in exploring other business opportunities in Melbourne,
Australia.

This not only lead to the development of one of the first Childcare Centers in a Golf Estate, i.e. Sandhurst Golf Estate in the
Cranbourne/Carrum Downs area, but coming from a wine growing food loving culture in South Africa, resulted in establishing Source SA with the purpose of introducing and importing premium, uniquely South African products to the Melbourne market –thereby enriching the already rich food and wine culture in ‘’the most liveable city in the world, and hopefully, ultimately in Australia.

We have been in the import/export business for 4 years, having opened our business in 2014. Lebeaux Mulder brought Barbara
Thornhill on board late 2014, who has over 25 years of experience in the Hospitality/Food and Beverage/Sales Industry, to manage the day to day import/export operations of the business from South Africa whilst Nadia Mulder, an expert in design, sales and marketing, heads up the operations from Melbourne.

Our exclusive range consists of Wines from established wineries, Backsberg, Fairview and Vergenoegd, carefully selected for their exceptional quality and world-renowned reputation. We also introduce through Noble Spirits a unique range of conveniently
packaged in 25 ml sachets of their specially packaged high-quality Whiskey, Brandy, Vodka and Rum collection.

On the ’lighter’ side, through Eversons Craft Ciders, we offer their uniquely organic Pomegranate, Apple, Cloudy and Mulled flavoured ciders, supplemented with a unique range of carefully selected traditional South African liqueurs, such as the ‘Melktert’ (Milk Tart).

To round off this unique offering, a premium range of cocktail pre-mixers, exciting your enjoyment of your favourite sundowners, are also available.

To supplement and enhance the unique experience and flavours on offer, Advanced Leisure Foods have created a range of easy-to-prepare, gourmet pre-mix products that will remind you of that ‘being back home’ feeling, with traditional products like vetkoek, biltong bread, roosterkoek, stokbrood, pampoen koekies - a sensational tasting experience, with so many more!
